Clinical & Organisational Supervision

For mental health practitioners, coaches and OD professionals, supervision is an important aspect of professional and ethical practice.

I have a keen interest in supervisory practice and have extensive experience in supporting practitioners in the fields of counselling, psychotherapy, coaching and OD.  I am currently a tutor on the Relational Change Diploma in Relational Supervision, and a training supervisor for a number of psychotherapy trainings.

I provide one-to-one and group supervision in person or online. Please get in touch for further information.

I believe in a relational approach to supervision. This means recognising that relatedness to others is an existential given and a core organising principle that shapes who we are and what we do.   In a relational paradigm, our sense of self emerges through being in relationship with others – both at the level of our relationships with other individuals, and also in the wider context.

For more information about my approach to supervision, please refer to the Relational Supervision Matrix which i have co-authored.

“Supervision interrupts practice. It wakes us up to what we are doing. When we are alive to what we are doing, we wake up to what is, instead of falling asleep in the comfort stories of our clinical routines and daily practice”

Sheila Ryan (2004)
